According to an article on Insurancenewsnet.com, Health Care Costs in the US will rise 10 percent over the next 12 months. These projections were taken without calculating the effect that any type of Health Care Reform would have on rates. Surprisingly, these projected increases are down from last year’s rise in premiums. The article explained further that HMO and POS (Point of Sale) plans were expected to have the largest rise in premiums, with PPO and EPO estimated lower. We are living in perilous times. This article discusses the dangers we are currently facing as a result of the world having grown connected within itself, without a commensurate increase in coordination and cooperation. The conclusion is drawn that we must move forward beyond this present condition, rising above the personal beliefs and judgments which keep us from working together toward achievement of our common objectives. Sometimes you may come across situations when you need to find someone urgently. It is like looking for a needle in a haystack if you do not have anything much to go from. You may just know that person’s earlier address or social security number and you want to find him. Often called ” the designer’s designer,” Cuban-born Isabel Toledo was little known outside fashion’s inner sanctum until First Lady Michelle Obama selected her shift dress and coat for the January Inauguration Ceremony. Last week in NYC, I visited The Museum at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) for an exhibition of Isabel’s work.
